The Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawk hatchling was in fine form during my 2 1/2 hour outing today. It preened, rested, and had some nice hop flaps. Bobby appeared a little over an hour after I had arrived. He sat guard near the nest for an hour before disappearing south.
